Micah Brinson

AI & Software Engineer

I don't just ship features — I trace problems to the simplest solution that actually holds up in production.

→ Agent loops, RAG pipelines, and knowledge graphs that turn messy data into answers.

01 — About

The thinking behind the code

Why I build the way I build.

// operating principle

Understand it, break it, rebuild it better — then document what you learned.

Systems thinkingAI / RAGFull-stackGraphs

Most people learn to code to pass the class. I learned it to understand how systems actually work — then to break them, rebuild them better, and measure the difference.

Across three internships at SAP I've built an AI error-resolution agent that cut issue resolution time by up to 70%, a multi-model GenAI pipeline routing across LLMs on SAP AI Core, and graph-powered semantic search over unstructured data. The throughline: turning a vague "can AI do this?" into something deployed and measurable.

I'm a Computer Science student at Drexel University (graduating 2027) with concentrations in Software Engineering and Artificial Intelligence, and a minor in Data Science. I like the messy middle — translating ambiguous requirements into real, working software.

Direction: AI systems, RAG and retrieval, and the backend architecture that makes them reliable at scale.

Where I've built

Roles and internships that shaped how I ship — most recent first.

  1. Software Engineering Intern — Life Sciences AI, Forward Deployed Engineering

    SAP America

    APR 2026 — Present

    ⌖ Philadelphia, PA

    • Collaborated on a globally distributed Agile team building a multi-tenant SaaS platform that lets life sciences companies monitor outsourced drug development and manufacturing (CMO).
    • Built an AI-powered error-resolution agent for the FDE team — a chat interface wired to an agent loop that analyzed 50+ error scenarios, recommended resolution steps in real time, and retained historic outcomes, cutting resolution time by up to 70%.
    • Built a multi-model GenAI pipeline with SAP CAP on Node.js, Python, and Docker that dynamically provisions and routes requests across multiple LLMs on SAP AI Core — transcribing tables/figures into structured prose and extracting refined text for RAG vector indexing.
  2. Software Engineering Intern — SAP CX-AI Toolkit

    SAP America

    APR 2025 — MAR 2026

    ⌖ Palo Alto, CA

    • Implemented RESTful APIs and scalable data/metadata pipelines for SAP BDC solutions, improving data-processing efficiency.
    • Developed AI-powered graph applications with LangChain, Neo4j, and vector search — enabling semantic search and Q&A over unstructured data with faster query resolution and better natural-language-to-query accuracy.
  3. Software Engineering Intern — SAP HANA Intelligent Cloud Applications

    SAP America

    APR 2024 — MAR 2025

    ⌖ Philadelphia, PA

    • Built a RAG pipeline with LangChain to optimize SAP HANA product documentation — automating summarization and year-over-year change detection to streamline documentation analysis.
    • Prototyped and presented AI-driven solutions — RAG document analysis and ontology graphs for RAG optimization — to global SAP customers such as UNICEF, translating requirements into technical solutions.
  4. Camp Instructor — Full Stack Development Track

    Drexel Digital Development Camp

    JUL 2023 — AUG 2023

    ⌖ Philadelphia, PA

    • Led the Full Stack Development track, guiding 100+ aspiring young developers through front-end design, human-computer interface, UX, and back-end development with a focus on data integration.
    • Mentored campers through individual and group projects — running daily lessons and workshops and facilitating team collaboration to build websites addressing real-world food insecurity.
